| Project Description: | GVC is responsible for the construction of a new sludge thickener with geodesic dome cover and appurtenant piping. In addition, the project consisted of a new septage receiving station with 40,000 gpd septage holding tanks with appurtenant piping. GVC produced the plans, specifications and bid documents of the plan, in addition, provided the construction phase engineering, construction observation and the construction administration. |

WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY IMPROVEMENTS:

| Project Description: | GVC is responsible for the plans and specifications for improvements to the existing 300,000 gallon per day (gpd) extended aeration treatment facility. Improvements consists of construction of a new 300,000 gpd extended aeration cast-in-place concrete treatment unit with a hydraulic capacity of 1,200,000 gpd, new masonry blower building with two 100 HP blowers and 200 KW emergency generator, new submersible wastewater influent pump station with two 5 HP pumps and two 18 HP pumps, new chlorine disinfection and dechlorination facilities. Services include assistance with bidding, financial/funding application through PENNVEST and the County Community Development Office and construction phase engineering. |

SAND FILTRATION SYSTEM PROJECT:

| Project Description: | The project consisted of the construction of a new 10.0 mgd gravity upflow sand filtration system for the treatment of secondary clarifier effluent, which entailed the construction of a 80' x 56' building, three filter cells, firm pumping capacity of 7,200 gpm, sand replacement accessories and capability for bypassing filtration treatment process in an emergency. GVC was responsible for the plans, specifications and bid documents for the project. In addition, GVC provided the construction phase engineering, administration and observation for the project. |
